​​About Rockford Ruddy:
Rockford Ruddy is the Director/Owner of Rock Counseling LLC, primarily serving the Christian churches of the greater Treasure Valley as a Pastoral Counselor.


Rock earned his MMIN in Pastoral Counseling from Ohio Christian University in 2016. Rock is a certified Pastoral Sex Addiction Professional - Supervisor (PSAP-S). Rock is a member of IITAP (International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals) and the AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors). Rock received his ministerial ordination in February 2003, has served in various pastoral roles since 1987, and currently serves as a Pastor at Discovery Church,
overseeing the church’s restoration ministries. Rock is certified in Genesis Process Counseling. As a former Hospice Chaplain, Rock provided bereavement support to end-of-life patients and their loved ones. Additionally, Rock served for 5 years as the Regional Group Advisor in Southern Idaho and Nevada for Pure Desire Ministries International, training and supporting men’s group leaders.


Rock and Grace have been married since 1984, and have resided in Boise since 1994. Because of God’s healing work in his life and marriage, Rock has a deep and abiding passion to see Christian men and marriages healed and whole, fully walking out of their God-given destiny.


Rock believes people are shaped by their experiences (positive and negative), relationships (past and present), and God-given gifts. For those desiring personal change, Rock provides grace-filled, respectful, and confidential processes that have produced profound and lasting change. Rock uses an Attachment Theory/Trauma model of counseling. Rock’s approach is founded on a Christian/biblical perspective and does not focus solely on behavior. Rock’s goal is to assist people in identifying and addressing the deeper issues driving their behavior. Rock’s specialties include facilitating healing in the areas of addiction, grief, loss, and forgiveness.

 

​​About Marie Benton:
​Marie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Simpson University in Redding, California, as well as a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology (April 2012) from National University in Redding, CA. Marie completed her practicum and most of her internship hours working with dual diagnoses of victims of crime/trauma, veterans and their spouses and families at Family Dynamics Resource Center while living in Northern California, until mid-2014, when she moved to Idaho. She is currently a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, nearing full licensure in Idaho, under the supervision of Angel Ford, LCSW. In order to address a variety of concerns, Marie's counseling approach is integrative, based on client needs. Marie's counseling approach includes primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR & Trauma Focused CBT, utilizes Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Experiential, IMAGO, the Gottman Method, Neurolinguistic Programming and Gestalt modalities.  Marie primarily focuses on trauma therapy with first responders, veterans, survivors of violent crimes. She works from a Christian perspective with individuals, couples and families on a variety of struggles.  She enjoys working with couples and families to improve communication, relationships and reunification, as well as parenting struggles. Marie believes that it is her responsibility and in the client’s best interest, to help her clients to be self-reliant, gaining the coping skills needed to graduate from therapy when there is evidence that they are ready to end treatment. There are times when clients choose to return when new symptoms and/or issues arise and former clients are encouraged to schedule appointments during these times.

 


I am married to the love of my life, I  have three beautiful daughters who are my world, three sons-in-law who bless our family with their dynamic personalities and individual talents, and seven amazing grandchildren who simply amaze me with their pure hearts, laughter, and enchanting personalities.  My own healthy stress relief includes dancing, reading, archery, exercise, and my two dogs a Golden Retriever Auriela and King Charles Cavalier Paisley. 

​​About Elizabeth Videen:
I am a highly-skilled mental health counselor with 33 years of experience working as an addiction counselor with adolescents and adults. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-7451), Certified Addictions Counselor (CADC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC).  I am trauma and crisis certified offering EMDR. I am passionate about the process of change and believe in the capacity for recovery.


I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota specializing in psychology, alcohol and drug addiction counseling, and youth studies. I worked primarily with adolescents and families suffering from addiction from 1989 through 2008. Since 2008 I have specialized in working with adults in the criminal justice system. My graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health with a specialization in trauma and crisis was completed in 2016 from Walden University. I offer a welcome compassionate positive space without judgment. My experience gives me a wide range of skills with practical application to daily life. I utilize a reality-based positive approach seeking to assist others in empowering them in their own life.  I work with Safehaven Counseling Center in Boise Idaho where we take an integrated holistic approach to emotional, physical, and spiritual health.  I am particularly skilled in working through grief/loss, resolving resentment, coping with and reducing anxiety, trauma/crisis, Post Traumatic Stress, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Addictions, depression, relapse prevention, and improving communication skills. I would welcome getting to know you and assisting you in improving your satisfaction in life. Currently, I am seeing clients via zoom sessions and have the ability to meet in person in Meridian Idaho.

​I am an LPC and a graduate of Gonzaga University with a master’s degree in
Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I spent 3 years working for the Spokane Public
Schools and then in private practice. Recently, I became a certified health and
wellness coach through IIN, and I have just completed a certification course in
Mental Health & Nutrition.


I am passionate about mental wellness, health, and physical fitness. I enjoy
working with clients to develop a healthy mind and body connection through
mindfulness and other emotional and cognitive behavioral approaches. My
primary treatment approach is CBT and DBT, which help clients in getting to the
root causes that contribute to unhealthy patterns of thought, toxic emotions, and
destructive behaviors. My treatment approach is effective for those who desire
to work through stressors, deal with big transitions, navigate dysfunctional
situations, overcome barriers to success, improve self-concept, improve
relationships, and to heal from many forms of harm.


I enjoy inspiring and developing individuals to become their best selves, and I
work with clients to build confidence, improve emotional self-expression and
communication, and improve connection in life and interpersonal relationships. I
love supporting, encouraging, and providing tools for parents, to reduce stress in
the home, foster healthier interactions, and strengthen relationships.
I am a well-rounded therapist that utilizes a variety of approaches tailored to the
individual’s needs. I am kind, compassionate, and enthusiastic about my work. I
find joy through shared experiences, and I look forward to being able to assist
others to reach their goals.


As a certified health and wellness coach, I can partner with individuals to help
them overcome barriers and help them develop strategic goals and healthy
mindsets as they navigate their health and fitness goals. I am personally
dedicated to building strength with weight training, healthy nutrition and
supplements, and other aspects of health to optimize a healthy lifestyle. My
focus is on feeling strong and empowered both mentally and physically as they
are closely connected. At this time I am primarily online as I reside in Coeur d’Alene, ID, and I travel frequently which gives me the flexibility to continue to
serve my clients.

I am a graduate of Liberty University and Northwest Nazarene University.  I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work.  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with an emphasis on addiction and mental health. I am trauma certified in the state of Idaho and am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapy for trauma and other challenging personal issues. I am a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT), I specialize in working with the partner of the addict. I have been working in the field of spiritual and emotional well-being for men, women, families, first responders, and children for over 25 years.
